Dental Crowns Gardena, CA

If you are suffering from pain caused by a weak or damaged tooth, a dental crown can relieve your discomfort and restore the strength of your tooth.

When a filling is not enough to repair a damaged tooth, a dental crown is placed over the top of the tooth to restore its shape. Dental crowns provide protection for your tooth and restore the appearance of your smile.

What Are Dental Crowns?

A dental crown is a durable cap that is placed over the visible portion of an existing tooth. Crowns restore the natural shape and function of your tooth, while providing added support and prevention from further damage.

Dental crowns are crafted from various materials including porcelain and precious metals. At Dentist of Gardena, all our crowns are custom made out of the highest quality materials.

  • Protects decayed or broken teeth from further damage
  • Improves the appearance of discolored teeth
  • Restores the strength of your tooth
  • Relieves pain and tooth sensitivity
  • Natural-looking and long-lasting

What Is The Dental Crown Procedure?

To begin the dental crown process, we will start by taking necessary x-rays to determine the extent of the damage or weakness in your tooth. Once we have determined that a dental crown is the right option for you, we will take impressions of your teeth and remove any decay or infection. A temporary crown will be installed to protect your tooth while your permanent crown is being created from your chosen material.

We will have you return to our office a few weeks later to place the permanent crown. This will consist of sealing and securely bonding the crown with a long-lasting specialized cement. Once your permanent crown is comfortably in place, you'll be free to smile again with confidence!
